3. Review and submit

All devices submitted for repair are subject to a minimum service fee of $195, regardless of whether the device is repairable or not.
When purchasing an ECM, a core of the same model must be provided. If a core is not available at the time of purchase, a refundable core fee will be charged.
Core returns are inspected upon receipt. An acceptable core qualifies for a full refund of the core fee paid. A damaged or otherwise unacceptable core may qualify for a partial refund, depending on its condition and our assessment.
Any devices left at DSL Electronics for more than 15 days become the property of DSL Electronics.
I understand that any services performed by DSL Electronics may void the original manufacturer’s warranty for the device. DSL Electronics does not assume, and expressly disclaims, any liability in the event the manufacturer’s warranty becomes void due to services performed by DSL Electronics.
DSL Electronics is not responsible for any damage resulting from electrical repairs on the truck. Electrical and electronic components are highly sensitive and can be damaged by improper installation, testing, electrical short circuits, oil leaks, coolant leaks, and other issues. It is the customer’s responsibility to follow proper installation instructions for all modules.
I expressly waive all claims against DSL Electronics for any damages to the device resulting from services performed by DSL Electronics, including but not limited to truck damage, towing fees, downtime losses, or any other incidental expenses related to the service.
I understand that DSL Electronics provides a one (1) year warranty on ECM repairs and exchanges, covering ECM hardware only. The warranty does not cover services such as diagnostics, programming, or tuning. Some ECMs may become damaged again and may not be repairable a second time. In such cases, the customer may purchase another ECM.
Programming services provided by DSL Electronics are basic and standard, based on the engine serial number supplied by the customer.
DSL Electronics is not responsible for any current, pre-existing, or underlying problems or faults in the customer’s truck that may affect or interfere with custom programming.
